Combined organic-inorganic fertilization builds higher stability of soil and root microbial networks than exclusive mineral or organic fertilization

چکیده

Plant health and performance are highly dependent on the root microbiome. The impact of agricultural management soil microbiome has been studied extensively. However, a comprehensive understanding how types fertilization regimes affect both is still lacking, such as microbiome’s stability, whether it follows same patterns In this study, we carried out long-term experiment to see different types, plant varieties, fertilizer regimens affected bacterial communities. Our results revealed higher stability microbial networks under combined organic-inorganic than those relied solely inorganic or organic fertilization. variation was predominantly caused by total nitrogen, while primarily pH matter. Bacteroidetes Firmicutes were major drivers when amended with fertilizer, but Actinobacteria found be enriched in treated fertilizer. findings demonstrate respond diverse fertilizing regimes, hence contribute better smart strategy for sustainable agriculture.

Variations in eco-enzymatic stoichiometric and microbial characteristics in paddy soil as affected by long-term integrated organic-inorganic fertilization

To investigate the effects of different nutrient management regimes on the soil chemical, eco-enzymatic stoichiometric and microbial characteristics, soil samples were collected from a 30-year, long-term field experiment with six plots growing rice. The results showed that as integrated fertilization increased, so did the concentrations of soil total or available nutrients and microbial biomass...

Plants Rather than Mineral Fertilization Shape Microbial Community Structure and Functional Potential in Legacy Contaminated Soil

Plant-microbe interactions are of particular importance in polluted soils. This study sought to determine how selected plants (horseradish, black nightshade and tobacco) and NPK mineral fertilization shape the structure of soil microbial communities in legacy contaminated soil and the resultant impact of treatment on the soil microbial community functional potential. To explore these objectives...

Organic fertilization leads to increased peach root production and lifespan.

We evaluated the effects of mineral and organic fertilizers on peach root dynamics in the growing season from 2003 to 2006 in a nectarine (Prunus persica L.) orchard, planted in 2001 and located in the Po valley, northeastern Italy. Very few studies have conducted long-term investigations of root dynamics of fruit crops. Our main objective was to determine whether organic fertilizers affect roo...

Modelling tillage and nitrogen fertilization effects on soil organic carbon

1 Agricultural management plays an important role in global warming mitigation due to 2 its effects on soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics. In Mediterranean agroecosystems, 3 the interactive effects of tillage and N fertilization on SOC storage have scarcely been 4 studied. Hence, we here present a modelling study in which the effects of both tillage 5 and N fertilization on SOC dynamics are inv...
